The Year In Review
As the holiday approaches, we look back at 2016… and what a year it has been for us!
With over 50 successful years in the localization business, we thought it was time for a new look and name change. This year we’ve updated our name from Cinemagnetics to CMI Media Management. We rebranded with a new logo, website and email handles. We hope you’ll check us out at www.cminyla.com.
And if that wasn’t enough, we moved to a brand-new, purpose-built facility in the heart of Stamford, CT. We built a state of the art digital operating platform, complete with new editing rooms and multifunctional workstations. We now have greater flexibility and scale to meet the needs of our clients.
In our work with Hollywood studios, we translated and distributed some great films--Jason Bourne (NBCUniversal), Ghostbusters (Sony Pictures) and Hateful Eight (TSI/The Weinstein Company) to name a few. Dubs and Subs in ten languages and cultural adaptations plus file formatting for a myriad of airline inflight entertainment formats kept us pretty busy.
In 2017, we plan to attend several conferences and trade shows. We hope to see you in Cannes (MipTV, Film Festival), Berlin (APEX, FilmFest), Amsterdam (GALA) and Washington DC (RealScreen). Or come visit us in Stamford, CT. We will be letting you know what we are up to through our blog, www.cminyla.com/blog. And, won’t you please join us too on LinkedIN, Twitter and Facebook?
We are incredibly blessed with wonderful clients, on both coasts. We love what we do and there are days when walking through the production floor, we are in awe of the incredible breadth and depth of the content our clients produce and which we have the privilege to work on.
We wish all our customers, partners, friends & colleagues a restful and joyful end-of-year season.
